What causes a baffle strike?
Suppressor too dirty? Not tightened down, loose fit? Baffles loose inside the tube?

Just wondering what to look out for. I am in the market for one in the next few months.

On a new rifle: the rifle threads are not proper.
Existing rifle: the suppressor isn’t tight on the threads or its mount.

Those are the two most common reasons by a huge margin.

I have also seen screwed up cans and screwed up suppressor attachments. So it’s not always the thread job.
