What color to go with for the next build?

I have a McMillan A5 in GAP camo. I am about the get a .260 built on a Surgeon 591 to drop in it. I cannot make up my mind as to which color would look the best. I do not want to paint the rings or scope so they would be flat black. I do not think any color I go with would really clash but I cannot make up my freaking mind as to which color would look the best, so what say you?

I voted satin black and wasnt surprised to see the results. Green and black have been the two most popular colors for me for a while.

I went with green trimmed in some black and tan.

I went round and round with this same idea. I decided to go with the green to match the base color of the stock.

Not mine, but here is the same thing in black which I think looks equally nice.

Why not snow camo? You can do some amazing things with white...

Thats just my opinion though, alot of people i have talked to think its ugly

I don't know about your area, but we don't get much of the white stuff here in coonass country.

I won't ever have use for a snow camo gun either, i have to drive five hours just to see the damn stuff in winter time. I didn't know about Louisiana but figured i'd suggest it anyways

Re: What color to go with for the next build?

This topic always drives me freaking crazy when it comes time with each of my builds. There are so many great options and color combinations it is overwhelming. I have spent hours online looking at others builds in similar setups just to help put an image with my ideas. I had such a difficult time deciding between two color schemes on my last HSP varmint thumbhole 22-250AI that I ended up building another one in the other color. This worked out great as now I have 2 exceptional customs in one of my favorite calibers. It does cause problems though when packing up my gear for a coyote hunt as I cannot decide which color to take out hunting with me.
