What drill press are y’all running

I have a budget under $300 this isn’t for a Buisness just hobby work, is there any reliable presses under $300?

For $300, I'd take a look at the Rigid brand ones from Home Depot. They're actually pretty solid units.

Used is your best bet. New its hard to find anything worth buying under 1K.

Look for the old Taiwan made Harbor frieght (green) presses or a used Jet.

Try and find a used old heavy duty cast iron drill press. I found an old heavy duty press I paid $100 for and it was WAY more sturdy than my $1200 Jet

This. Plenty of options under $300, that's easy, and they'll do just fine for drilling holes.

I've abused the crap out of my $150 Ryobi drill press from Home Depot and it's still running strong 10+ years later. If you're not a machinist doing specialized work I don't see any good reason to be a drill press snob. It's just a tool.
