Rear rubber ring on my IOR 2.5x10x42mm scope( eye brow protector)has fallen off what glue should I use.Posted this once before buy things came keeping from fixing the problem.

I put a Butler Creek objective cap over the eyepiece assembly of my 6-24x50 and taped it on.
This came after losing an eyepiece cap from rubbing against my body on a hunt. Now it's bulletproof.
The rubber ring is covered by the cap.
