What Off the Shelf 338 Holds It's Value the Best?

I'm about 6-8 months out until the 338 lapua I'm going to buy will become available, and was looking for something to shoot until it becomes available. What would be a good off the shelf 338 around 5k or less? Not only shooting wise, but will hold it's value well when I re-sell it.

You can probably get a lightly used AI AX .338 rifle in that price range which would make a an excellent rifle on both counts.

I bought the gun to try out the Lapua before spending a lot more on a custom one.
