Leupold VX-III 4.5-14x50 LR on my M700 CDL SF .308! Absolutely love it.

Then I have Leupold's on my varmint/LR rigs. Someday, I hope to have mostly NightForce..but that will come after college

Re: What optic do you use on your hunting rifles?

On my 30-06 I use a Aimpoint 9000 and also a zeiss Diavari victory illum. 6-24x56 mounted in Leupold QR-rings

On my old merkel a zeiss victory varipoint 1,1-4x24

On my sako 375 H&H magnum a Zeiss victory varipoint 1,5-6x42

On my winchester 1300 turkey a aimpoint micro mounted on the barrel.

My sako quad has a Vortex viper 6-24x56 mounted in leupold QRW's

My newest scope is the viper pst and I like it a lot, but of course the diavari's better.

Re: What optic do you use on your hunting rifles?

Simmons prohunter 7-14 i think it is, its so old i cant even read it anymore.. was passed down from my father, and i cant bear to take it off the rifle... at 75 yards it drives tacks...

Re: What optic do you use on your hunting rifles?

The M70 30.06 has a Leupold VX-3 3.5-10x40 CDS.

With regards to the CDS dial, I don't use a custom dial. It is a good low profile 1/4 MOA dial that works great on a hunting rifle.

Re: What optic do you use on your hunting rifles?

Leupold VX-III 3.5-10x50 on my Remmy 700 Mountain LSS .260
Burris FFII 3-9x40 on my Savage 110 .270
Nikon ProStaff 3-9x40 on my CVA Optima muzzleloader

Not going to laugh.
I have a Simmons 8 point on my 30-30. Its a 150 yard and in gun, and the scope holds zero, what else could I ask for LOL.

My other hunting rifles have the Vortex Viper line. Good glass for the price.

This for heavy duty 3-9x40...but I still think this is one of the better "all around" variable options for almost all hunting opportunities. Maybe a 6x for a fixed scope.

Re: What optic do you use on your hunting rifles?

I have this ancient Tasco 4x9x32 wide angle with the single post.

The dang thing lights up at first light and has always been a faithful scope....

It's a brush gun and is accurate out to 300 with no adjustments...on a .243 of course!

Re: What optic do you use on your hunting rifles?

Leupold VXIII 4.5X14X40, with cds.

I admit the mil dot is more versatile, but for $20 dollars extra over the standard VXIII it is simple and worth trying out. You can always holdover the target if time is a factor.

Re: What optic do you use on your hunting rifles?

Redfield Revolution 3-9x40 on my 700ADL
Vortex Diamondback 4-12x40AO on my Savage Weather Warrior
Vortex Viper 3-9x40 on my Model 70 Featherweight

I don't spend alot on hunting scopes, but in it's price point the Redfield I own is VERY impressive. Of my 3 hunting scopes, the Viper is my favorite, best glass and I love their BDC reticle.

Re: What optic do you use on your hunting rifles?

Nikon cheapo Bushmaster 4.5-14 BDC on ancient Rem 270 ADL. Works like a charm and the ninny circles line up nicely to 400 yds (cross hair to 200, first circle to 300, second to 400) haven't tried the others yet.
