I picked up an older model 38 j frame (hammer mounted firing pin) I am planning on adding it to the edc stable. I want to change Out the springs so I know it’s good to go. Wouldn’t mind making the trigger a little better while I am swapping them. One found a good mixture of spring weights for a carry gun.

I recently modified this NIB Taurus M85 2" .38 I found in the back of a safe. Didn't know I owned a Taurus. Anyway, I set this one up mostly for dry fire practice to reduce the wear on my other carry J-frames that are similarly tuned. About 300 rounds on the range. I used Wolff spring kits. Brownells / Midway USA also have spring kits.
