So I just finished stiffening fore-ends and bedding with Devcon ( I really like the product) 3 rifles; 1-10/22, and 2 Howa 308s, 1-16" and 1-20" I need 1 scope and can't decide between a a Weaver tactical 1-5x24 (for the 16") or a Tasco Titan 3-12x52 (for the 20"), both made in Japan. I have a Weaver tactical 4-12x44 that would mount on the other. I'm frugal so leaning towards the titan (I've owned a few over the years, still have a 3-9x42, and like them). I'm intreaged with the whole LPVO movement and the extra eye relief I'd get, but at twice the price. I've watched/read so many reviews. I'd love to spend $2K on a Ziess or Trjicon, but just can't justify it for hunting. Then I think I'll just grab one of my cheap 3-9x32 out of my parts box and live with it.
In this current climate, I think I should be buying up AR lowers, just got my 401k statement showing no profit last year, WTF? I could've done better buying ammo...
