I got an spr style ar that I've just finished. I put the geissele dmr trigger in it. This is the first geissele I've ever had. It is horrible. Ive tried to adjust it and had no luck. The first stage is fine but the second is mushy. There is a lot of creep in the second stage. All my rock river national match triggers seem much better than this. Sorry to rant but I'm pissed that the most I've ever spent on a trigger and its only better than the milspec gi. Ill be contacting geissele to send it back. Any suggestions on a different trigger
Ok...stupid question time, but since you didn't mention it...I have to ask: What, SPECIFICALLY, did you do in terms of trying "to adjust it" before coming to the conclusion that your trigger is otherwise not right?
I'm not saying that its your fault or error in getting the trigger setup properly, but it certainly wouldn't be the first time I've seen any number of different variations on the HS NM triggers completely buggered up to the point that I just start over from ground zero and rework the trigger/sear adjustments all from scratch. Some people just should NEVER own adjustable triggers!!

I have owned as well as worked on/installed/setup MANY Geissele triggers of all models over the last couple years and I have never encountered a single example in the HS NM lineup (or even the non-adjustable models for that matter) that could be described as having "a lot of creep" in any way, shape or form.
With that said, however, its a mechanical device, designed and built by man, and sometimes @#$% happens. If you have attempted to adjust the trigger/sear per Bill's specs/instructions and it is still suffering from what you deem to be "a lot of creep int he second stage" then get in touch with CS at Geissele at (610) 272-2060, discuss your concerns/problems, and see what you can get straight from the horse's mouth. It won't be an issue to get the trigger looked at, replaced, etc. as needed as the customer service from Geissele is second to NONE! Give Geissele a chance to "make it right" for you and if after that you get a trigger replacement that you still deem to be unsatisfactory to you/for your purposes, consider alternatives at that point, but don't throw in the towel just yet.
