I am wanting to install a suppressor on a savage pre threaded 22lr. Looking for some input on what type of can would be the best option for the money.

Re: What type of suppressor?

Have been around a couple of Elite Iron suppressors and they seemed to be well built and worked very good.

The choices in .22LR are pretty wide open. The Tactical Innovations suppressors are really good for the money. They have the Tac 65, Quest and Stratus. We've sold a number of them and customers are very happy. I've got a Tac 65 with about 10K rounds through it and no issues whatever. Take-apart cans for easier cleaning...important in a dirty .22 LR. http://www.tacticalinc.com/22lr-models-c-21_24.html?osCsid=d6efvuikg62ijvcvmbj3a3rm36

GemTech makes some .22LR stuff thats great quality, Silencerco makes the sparrow with a neat shield to insure that you can get it apart to clean.....Lots of other manufacturers out there.

Good luck
