Rifle Scopes What would be your choice?

I need a scope, so narrowed my choices to the following ones;
Bushnell hdmr 3.5-21x50 g2
Vortex Razor HD 5-20x50 ebr-2
SS HD ill 5-20x50
What would be your choice & why??? I prefer ill. reticle, so this excludes the bushnell.

What is the intended use of the rifle? This information might help provide some more helpful guidance.

Your head could spin for days deciding between those first three...

Mainly target shooting from 300m to 1400m. Also long range elk hunting.

Nightforce, or Steiner would be my pick. But if it's just off of your list, Razor HD.

I choose the SS, for the same purposes that you are looking for. Where in AZ are you?

i`m in Phoenix AZ. I shoot off Dugas exit on I-17 and hunt sector 3A, 3C and around Ashurst lake.

Nightforce F1 is 3.5-15x50, i`d like -20x50. Stainer and Kahles are over my budget limit now.

Of what you have listed...

1.) Razor
+Fully illuminated reticle (if thats important to you)
+Zero Stop
-may be a bit large for a hunting rifle...

2.) SS
+ Many of the same features as the Razor only for $500 less
- no ZS, but not that big a deal with 10mil turrets

3.) Bushnell G2DMR
+More compact, might be better suited for hunting
+Greater magnification adjustment range
+Excellent Reticle
-No illum. reticle (I wish they would do this)

FWIW I would put the G2DMR at the top of my list if the damn thing was illuminated. You might want to also take a look at the new Bushnell ERS - Same features as the DMR only with 10mil turrets and a ZS. Honestly, when it comes to these three you're kinda splitting hairs a bit. All would serve your needs well.
