Here is what will happen if there is ever a ban on AR-15s
I predict 75% or more will not turn them in, but they will not go out and just flaunt that they still have and use them either they will eventually become JIC safe queens, shoved in an attic, closet or under a mattress manufacturers will quit making them and that $39.99 PSA lower will eventually be worth $3999.99 on the black market. They will get pulled out on special occasions for a trusting friend or family member to gawk over so they can say "man that is pretty cool my dad was telling me you could buy one for $600 back in the day when PSA was still around hard to believe you can get $10K for it now" Sadly that is what will become of the AR-15......If you think a bunch of patriots are going to rise up and do something about it I just don't believe it is going to happen I hope I am wrong though!

Just like the last time, one man, one gun..........the shot heard round the world...................

Im afraid they throw the words "honor", "commitment", etc around a little more loosely today vs back then. Regardless, even back then, only 1% of the population or something like that actually answered the call and said send me

Its all about the numbers problem is most law abiding citizens will never come together in the numbers it would take to give the other side the bird.
I fear that you are right but you never know

Arizona, good place for me...
I think we make our biggest mistake in assuming that the Left is any single, solitary thing.

Their byword is diversity, and that they are. They are a polyglot consisting of an entire spectrum of mean ass visious malcontents; devious, deceitful, hypocritical, all pulling on a bunch of ropes that are tied at their center, and radiate in at least every imaginable direction.

And most of us are thinking in only two dimensions...; wrong!

So when we believe that because some of them are pulling in one direction, and that others are slacking up; we're wrong.

They don't stop unless they get stopped permanently.

It's a piecemeal problem.

Hungry yet?

Well you'll still be stuck with an AR-15. You should think about selling it, and buying a better gun with some more punch that will reach out and touch something at distance.

I got plenty of rifles that will reach out and touch "something" at distance, but everyone needs a rifle (AR15 or similar) that will touch multiple "somethings" quickly at short distance........Just saying...... :)

Said it here before... I never thought I'd fear for the survival of my country in my lifetime. Americans so blindly accepting the lies, blythely ignorant or even worse disengaged from the distruction of our culture and history, good, bad and ugly. Watching it in these spasmodic convulsions saddens me beyond reason. All of us here really hope "the day" never comes. At least as a vet, it's a truly terrifying spectre to me. As an American I always want to believe the best in my fellow Americans and that's why generations of my family including my father and his four brothers and me and two cousins and now grandsons served our nation... for that ideal. I continue to fervently hope with every fiber of my being that the silent masses in this country, of both sexes and all cultures here are really, in a moment of intropsection saying, "what the hell are we thinking?"Both sides of my family were fervently democrat, but only one or two now espouse the drivel that comes from that side of the isle. And the very idea that we as Americans would abdicate our God given, hard won, blood bought freedoms meekly is more abhorrent than the idea itself. I pray that Americans really go to the polls and repatriate our ideals peacefully. If the alternate comes then ; 1) a flood of executive orders will begin quickly, as hundreds of liberal lawyers are currently prepping them; 2)The liberal states will immediately begin attempts at effecting registration/confiscation on the California model; 3) Massive pressure will be placed on ammunition makers to limit/cease production along with components; 4) If there is resistance to confiscation at/from local/state resources........I'm hoping in December we're laughing but I'll never be able to relax again in my lifetime my Brothers and Sisters...

No offense, but you should have never relaxed. Eternal vigilance is absolutely necessary. Now it’s pretty much gone too far. The government has forgotten who they work for and are not being held accountable at all. The forefathers gave us one of the best gifts ever, it was our responsibility to keep it. If the government fails to serve the people, then it is the people’s absolute duty to abandon it and start over!!! Yet everyone sits on their loins.

None taken Brother. As an American I give the benefit of the doubt, but as Ronnie sez "Trust, but verify." We've never been this uncivil to one another in our recent history. We count on everyone to take that deep breath and come back and hash it out like Americans. But the marxist, socialists and haters mistakenly take our lifelong respect for the rule of law for weakness. Unfortunately, those playful little pampered seals may have to see the orca too late...

The next President openly states on his Web site what he wants to do about ARs. He wants to make them a NFA item.

If Senate stays red, it'll be OK for two years.

Where to begin. You are showing your hand as a shill.
Define "at distance". Do you know how many kinds of AR15 rifles there are?
Do you think all ARs are short range rifles?

Fuck him tell him to come an get it,... or send the armed traitors he employs to do it, I don't give a fuck either way.
Nobody is coming to get them. Future sale will be subject to NFA, assuming the manufacturers survive the lawsuits that will result from 46s removal of legal protections.

It will all be challenged in the courts, and the outcome is anyone's guess.

Have you read "Unintended Consequences"?

So what is your prediction?
The answers are with in two book series,...the first one is "One Second after" a 3 book series,... The second is 10 books (to-date) called " Going Home" with a four book spin off call "Charlies Requiem" Research the events of Athens Tenn 1946 and Phenix City, Alabama. Both of those will give you insight to what happens when men of vigilance, have had enough. That is what is coming, an no one on this rock can stop it.

When it's time to party only then, will you know who and how many there are. Remember what is going on now has not effected but a small percentage of the population an most all of that is in liberal shit holes, that have very few men of vigilance. When it comes to fly over land,... the game will change,...rapidly.

I know over 20 of them personally. If death dont find us first.
I shoot with over 30 I would put in that category, an untold others I have talked to on here over the last 18 years. Many of those are not here anymore but we stay in touch. Many of them work inside the belly of the beast at all levels,... but like the good poker players they are, their trump card/s will not be played until required,...

I dont actually know you in the "meatspace" so I didnt count you.
I'm talking guys I know personally, know what they do for a living, broke bread with them, shot matches, laughed, cried with, and even asked to be pallbearers once.
When it's time, it WILL happen.

About time to take it offline.
No, it's not time yet, I'm just going to sit here and pontificate as a card carrying couch freedom fighter; I don't like to actually waddle outside to do anything, what with my bad back and all, except to pick up my SS check and maybe to bury my bump stock, and with my cognitive issues I'm not even sure where those are now. I'm sure somebody else will handle it for me.

you can sell it, or keep it.... if you sell it, the money you get will help you to build one off a lower and maybe a little more, which will be untraceable.. but without it, you still have excellent options... I don't think the left will attempt shotguns or bolt rifles... with those two and hand guns that will remain legal, you have a good arsenal.... with those in hand, the only thing you need to work out for the future is enough ammunition... buy bulk, buy excellent brass, load up on it, and pounds of powder, caps and bullets... learn how to reload and get the right equipment to do it

The problem with banning ANY firearm is there is always the next bite. Machine guns, gone. Bump stocks, gone. Ar's, fudd don't care as long as he's got his 30/30, gone. Pistols, same as ar, gone. See a pattern?

If you think they will stop at ARs you’d be sadly mistaken my friend. Funny thing is, some of us could be much much more articulate, in a manner of speaking, with a bolt action. If they only knew. Just saying.

Well, I lost my AR-15's in a canoeing catastrophe 20 years ago. All of them gone in one fell swoop and at the bottom of a 200 ft lake never to see the light of day again.

But in my state, NO ONE is going to give up jack shit. And the local LEO will tell the Feds to pound sand. So if the feds decide to push the issue, they will have to come get them themselves.

of course I do... understand it very well... I have one vote, unfortunately, because I am not a Democrat... I do however plan ahead for potentials... they could come eventually for everything... then I don't think it gets that far for a number of legitimate reasons... the gun control act was a reality for a period of time, could reoccur if those bastards take all 3 chambers... planning ahead for how to deal with it is a viable choice

no, not giving up in the least... I have 16 weapons in the house, yes, all firearms... I currently have 1 AR, which was purchased retail... so they know I have it... I intend to have several more AR's, but they will not know I have those... if push came to shove, I will sell the one they know about, but in reality, I will have a story for how it is no longer in my possession... I have two long range precision rifles, the baby of which is my AI... my 12 ga riot gun is 7-1, plus two on the butt... several hand guns, wheel and semi.. and then the balance are hunting and clay pieces, good but limited in defense, but there.. so not giving up by any means... happy for your concern though, thanks

I am onboard with what you are saying Stalker... fully.... the AR's would be the first move on their part, no doubt.... I think a good many of us have other methods for keeping AR's and AR pistols in hand without their awareness... but that is the key, their awareness... however, I do believe we would see a number of necessary reactions from the public and sympathetic LE if they were to attempt more than what was in the gun control act from before... they could try, but that is a long hard row to hoe... especially after LE's experience with these protests... everyone sees what is really happening and who is causing it

If you've noticed, any report of a "raid or seizure" has included the complete confiscation of their entire ammo stock as well and made it public, you know that shocked look as they say "THOUSANDS OF ROUNDS WERE SEIZED." On THAT day, ok, they get only one weapon. But they won't step off the porch. They will want the ammo for it, especially if you have, GASP! hundreds, much less thousands of rounds. Never mind that a day at the range can burn as few as a couple a boxes all the way to a thousand or more rounds. Not me but I've seen it done... Just seem to think the emphasis may be as much or more on the ammo. Two to 10 officers in your yard, keyboard bravado aside, what next? just sayin...

a better question would be how long would his party of communist allow him to hold the white house before they start trying to bump him off to implement there far communist agenda I thinking maybe a month or so after an accidental push down a flight of steps all bets would be off .
