I wanted to see how much moa elevation I was limited too with my scope yesterday and got 50moa. I was curious to see what everyone else was getting out of theirs.

I have the original 10x SS. 68 moa of elevation from a 100 yard zero on a flat 0 moa base.
The most I have used is 45 moa at 1225 yards. I hope to increase that figure soon.

I got 50 moa of elevation on a 20moa base. I measured the base and thought I put it on right lol. Im also at a 100 yard zero and 50moa only gets me to around 1400yards. I havent done any testing yet to see if the jbm ballistics chart is right. And 1400 is way farther than I planned on shooting with this rifle. But in the future if say I wanted to stick with the SS lineup and put it on my 7mm or 338 I will want way more than 15-1700 yards with those rifles.

With my 20x42 SS in Warne high rings, 100yd zero ate up 45moa, leaving me with 105moa left. Only needed 36moa more to get to the X-ring at 1K.

I believe mine had about 130 MOA of total travel. There is plenty of adjustment in these scopes.

Most reports i've seen on these have all had over 90MOA I would call SWFA and ask them about that.

The three 16X I've had were all 110+.
Usable elevation is dependent upon mounting and zero.....

With Badger 20 MOA base and 100 yard zero I got 50+. More than I'll ever need with the rifle its on.
