maybe he/we have been around and alert long enough to not get all hot about the initiating hype. maybe we've been around long enough to have seen these games fail repeatedly. when gov propaganda has been shown to be manipulating lies 90%+ out of 100 ,we don't buy into without results.
i doubt anyone here denies progress along some lines. there are claims been made that were completely turned 180. everybody awake knows it has only been 6 mos and Trump needs time. we all know he has been fought tooth and nail. it has also been only 6 mos-too soon to start singing halleluajh. some of us have a memory that is longer than 5 years. been there seen that heard that.
Pessimist are either not disappointed. Or pleasantly surprised

You see it in most all things mechanical & electrical. Life is the same way, quit dealing with the effects, cure the root issue* and you'll never have to deal with the effects but once. Always bandaging the effect is a lost cause, but deep thinking eludes many. Until the people that have fucked this country are held painfully accountable, its all effect fixing,... Effect fixing is NOT Winning, its just more fluff for the weak thinkers to hawk.
