Certainly is odd to see an Ohio on patrol ( the WV, in this case) used as a public event.

Why is it unusual to see a boomer on patrol? Saw them all the time. Everyone knows they are out there.

If the USN made a big deal about putting nukes on carriers and qualifying F-35s to carry them, then that would be a big deal. A F-35 with a nuke is not going to be detected until the nuke detonates. The P8 would be another platform to qualify - with much longer legs than the F35.
