I have had pretty good luck with them, although they are slammed.....that is just a reality. I ordered several rifles over 2013......not sure what version I would want or when they would ship, then I got 3 TOBR's in about 2 weeks. Not a bad problem to have, but my bank account doesn't like it. I do have one that is the Receiver ship deal, I still have Field BBL and yet the new ones that I have are match bbl, what is the deal with that? Are they ever going to send out the match bbls for us with the letter? I haven't been able to get a timeline at all.
I ordered my OBR December of 2012 and no information, no updates.
I never clef or emailed until my order was 15 months old to ask where the rifle was in the production cycle. I was told that since my rifle was still in "early" production that an ETA was not possible. I emailed back that I felt it was unreasonable not to have some sort of eta after 15 months. It has now been 17 months and 2 more emails aren't even answered ! I realize phone calls are distracting but unanswered email to production assistants is unacceptable. I may or may not keep the order. Whatever. Just got my gap after 14 months and it is great. I will not recommend larue and never buy one again. Why would I ?

If after 17 months of waiting you're not sure if you'll keep the order, you MIGHT be a dumbass. There is no way I will EVER wait that long for a non-custom firearm.
I AM a dumbass. But I also took heed of a lot of dumbass advice on this site recommending larue rifles and that they were worth the wait.
