I'd like to put a rifle together with a Savage action, is there anywhere to buy just the action/trigger besides buying a donor rifle? Thanks guys.

Gunbroker usually has several listings. They don't call it a model 12. I think they call it a varmint action.

Savage sells just the action with the bottom metal and the accutrigger. You can get a single shot, detachable magazine, hinged floorplate, right bolt left port, right bolt right port etc.
Any dealer should be able to order one for you and as stated above Jim at Northland Supply usually has some in stock.
