I live in Apopka FL. and have been everywhere for scopes to look at. Gander and basspro do not carry tactical scopes at least not the ones in Orlando.Anyone hear from central florida area that knows of any place that has different brands of scopes to look at. Thank you.

Any idea as to what you are looking for? I am not from central Florida but I have bought used and sold many types of scopes, from $50 BSA all the way to top of the line Schmidt and bender. I typically buy my scopes off line from either MidwayUsa, opticsplanet, or LaRue Tactical.
I am from Central Florida (Deltona) and have not seen any place that offers a good selection of tactical scopes locally. I do my research here on the Hide and elsewhere, decide upon a budget for the scope and then find the best price online. Many times the vendors here have the best deals and service and sometimes I've purchased from Midway too. For me, it's been Midway, Optics Planet, and SWFA, but that's just because they were the ones who had the deal I wanted at that time.
My suggestion? Define a realistic budget, do your research here and elsewhere. There are hundreds of scope comparison threads here alone. Then post questions if you still have any and make your purchase.
If you have access to any of the local long range shooting ranges, stop by during a busy weekend and see what the shooters there are using. I know that I've seen my share of different optics out there and been allowed to look through them, sometimes shoot with them. If you are decent and are truly interested and not intrusive, most shooters will be glad to let you check out their optics and share their opinions of them with you.
