Looking for a 700SA for a 308 Krieger MTU project I want a gunsmith to build up, but where can I find these actions? Will I need to buy a cheap/beat up 700 and just salvage the action?

Go to Wally World. Under 400 for complete rifle, sell the barrel, stock, etc.

Agree with (X Ring Accuracy) Walley World - $397 for Rem 700 short action and scope... Sell the stock, trigger, scope and barrel and your into a SA pretty cheap... Usually about $200-$250 to true the action and you're in business... or... skip all the selling and hassle and buy from bugholes! top notch!
