Which Action Block

Ok I know what they say about opinions but I need some anyway. Looking for an action block to assemble an AR with. So what ones are best? I read the insert ones can crack upper receivers while the clamp around style don't always fit and about 50 other issues/problems. So what are you guys using and how are they working out for you. I am not going to use it a ton just here and there as I swap parts and upgrade.

I loved the idea of the guy that just cut a cutting board in half and put his upper in SIDEWAYS. It's going to fit whether you have a mil spec upper or a custom-style billet one. I haven't done it myself, but I don't know why it wouldn't work.
