Entering the planning stages of my next build. So far I've decided on a 22" proof carbon barrel in either 6.5 PRC or 7mm WSM and I'll be repurposing my KRG X Ray. As far as the action I want mechanical ejection, an integrated recoil lug and if possible I'd also prefer an integrated rail. So far the closest I've found to what I want is the ARC Mausingfield and the Bighorn TL3. Any other actions out there that fit this criteria?

You pretty much hit the nail on the head there... I have no experience with either, but from the information on the forums here, the Mausingfield and Bighorn TL3 are top notch actions to build on. I believe they both have integral recoil lugs, but pinned rails. I am pretty sure my next build will be on a Bighorn TL3. They are beautiful, feature packed, and come in at a great price point.

Another action you could consider with mechanical ejection is the Kelbly's Atlas Tactical. My friend just got one and its a very nice piece, and also has an enticing price point.

Running a 6.5 saum mausingfield right now with a 28" proof barrel. Besides a little magazine lip tuning, I haven't had any problems. I modified ARC 308 mags and really like the caliber and love this action. Ran a 6 comp match and 260 barrel on it before this. Sold off my other precision rifles.

I think either of the calibers you listed should work fine in either action. I prefer the m5 but the reasons why are hair splitting and overkill.

Leaning towards the bighorn TL3 at this point. A bit cheaper and lighter. I'm hoping to keep this rifle under 13lb loaded and with the suppressor.
