Gunsmithing Which Reamer for 168 FGMM

Re: Which Reamer for 168 FGMM

The Bisley is what I usually run. Probably going to get my own reamer soon with a few changes, but the Bisley will crank out some nice chambers and groups.

I also run a 95 Palma and a separate throating reamer to throat out different chamber/necks for some customers who need that as well.

Its best to have a reamer for each chamber you want to run, but who can afford 4 308 reamers?

The 95 Palma will run the FGMM 168/175's OK. The Bisley will let you run at 2.850" with ease and is better suited for guys running the AI magazines. I've chambered a lot of rifles with the 95 but find myself of late using the Bisley more and more. The freebore diff is around .020" between the two, not quite the end of the world.
