I have a Remington 700P in 300 WM. I want to have a smith mount a Surefire Muzzlebreak for me. Which model should I use?...And would it hurt to have the barrel shortened some?

I think the big question is do you plan to run a surefire suppressor in the future?
I am going to run the 762ss suppressor on my .300wm, so I will be running the mount that reflexes over the barrel.

ive been using the SF 762SSAL/RE muzzle brake on my 300WM for over a year. Its a 26 inch tube spitting 208s at 2950. Id opt for the longer barrel.
