Gonna get another Remington in 308 for use to 600 yds. Would you go LTR, 5R or Compact Tactical and why? I am leaning toward the Compact Tactical.

By Compact Tactical, I guess you mean the XCR Compact. If so it's a good choice. The LTR's run $900. and change. The XCR's Compact run $1100. and change. For the extra $200. or so you get a 40x trigger, and a coated stainless barrel and action. That's a pretty good trade off, IMHO.
But any of your choices would work well. Pick what you like best.
