Who had Bali Volcano in June?

It's like hurricanes hitting the coast. They knew that thing was there, and someday there would be hell to pay. Now they will cry for international aid and the US will send them a few $B to ease their suffering. It's a cash machine for their government.

And just like people who live on the Atlantic coast who get their homes destroyed by a hurricane, nobody owes you anything. You chose to live there, you knew that inevitably you'd get wiped out by one, so don't start crying about aid when it happens. You could move inland today and eliminate any chance for it to happen. Just like living in the shadow of a volcano or in or near a major crime filled city. You knew the risks and you stayed, now suck it up.

That’s alright. The majority of those living on the actual coastline bought those homes with cash and don’t insure them anyway. They just collect the government funds when it’s their time. It’s a huge scam that is foisted on every other non-rich Floridian who pays a big tax on their insurance to cover them. Seems fair…
