I just cannot get use to the Accutrigger? Who makes a GREAT one out there? I really do not care about price, as I think this is one of the best impovements one can make. Thanks!

It will work perfectly for you, even if you have an Accustocked rifle. Drop in, no mods. Less than $100.00 and you will be good to go.

this... i have a accu gun, and a gun with the SAV1.. the sav is better
just make sure you adjust it enough on the sear so you dont get "slam fires"

+1, I contacted Donnie for some advice and he pointed me towards the Rifle Basix trigger. I would highly recommend it, and as he said it was a drop in fit

I posted a thread a few weeks ago about this. The SAV-1 is the only trigger that I was able to confirm that will work with an accustaock / accutrigger model.
However, I don't know if I'd call it a "great" trigger. It's good, but not great. I've spent less money for better triggers for other kinds of rifles.
With that said, it does seem to be reliable.... which is much more than I can say about the stock accutrigger. I have mine set at ~2.25 lbs and has proven 100% safe and reliable. I've slammed the bolt shut hundreds of times and it have never tripped. I've also did some drop testing from 12-24" on the butt and it passed.

I have the SSS and Sav-2. They are both nice, but the SSS required some modification to work with the accustock. The Sav-2 is just a nicer unit with a broader pull range and full instructional DVD.

I had a SAV-2 and now a SSS Competition on my old 10FP (now the Wife's F-TR rig). The SAV2 worked... but I wouldn't recommend it. Had to modify the hanger slightly on the SSS to account for the newer model (post 2004) sear, but it breaks crisp and clean every time...

I own a pile of the SSS triggers, Some are Great, some are OK. The most recent one was Trash,tool marks prevented it from functioning. It took a good bit of polishing to make it work. Quality Control just like Customer Service has ceased to exist at SSS
