I have done some more web searchs and found a company called
Whistlepig barrels.

^^^ Run away... far away. WP is a price point barrel, has no part in a discussion including VQ, Shilen or Clark.

WP is not one of the better barrels out there compared to the 3 above (and then include KIDD if .22 LR). They set their pricing $20-$100 lower than some of the very good barrels and sell themselves on being a "heavy target/varmint barrel."

There have been a couple decent WP barrels out there, but due to either tolerance issues or QC issues or...??? they are few and far between.

I will say, too bad you don't have a 77/22 Mag because I have a sweetheart of a fluted, ported VQ barrel for that sitting in my house that I bought for a project that never happened.
