Who makes a 1 1/2+ inside diameter rail

Everything I've been looking at that specs id shows too small for the can. Looking for a 12" rail for a 8.5 LWRC that will fit over a 1 1/2 od TBAC 223a

BAR and MCSR from Seekins will both work. Very commonly used rail systems for tucking a suppressor.

And like jason says, get some gloves. You will definitely be needing them. I have an Octane 9 tucked in a Wilson rail on a 9mm AR and that thing gets spicy after a mag or two. That is with a pistol caliber, 5.56 is going to heat up even worse.

....and you really want 1.75" ID and up if your planning on attaching any forward grip, rail sections etc. I couldn't attach anything to the rail where it started to overlap the can underneath. Not enough clearance, but the URX 4 is only 1.55" ID. I bored it out to 1.65" ID and still couldn't attach anything.

Buy some gloves too. I did the same with a URX 4 and that shit heats up in a hurry

WORD!!!

Here's an 8.2" .300 BLK:

Seekins shown above with 1.80" inside diameter. It might look kind of cool, but I would not build one like this for my own use after shooting this. The handguard gets unbelievably hot, uncomfortable even with gloves and a vertical grip. And it doesn't cool off, either, for a long time.

A better idea is a forend that gives you enough real estate to hang your vertical grip, tactical light, laser, taser, phaser, etc., but stop short of the suppressor. Shown below is a 10.5" 5.56 with DD Mk 18 rail:

The seekins is really bad ass. Also, I have an MKM key mod set made by mega that is unbelievable. I haven't measured the inside diameter, but it's big. Also, I like the quasi monolithic design with the mkm. My opinion is that Mega and seekins is some of the best shit out there

^^^ This is what you should do. You'll still get a monolithic look with an OD of around 1.5" which is what a bunch of the newer, slimmer designs come in at. I very much do prefer the slimmer OD rather than the fatter ones.

All right, thanks for all the input. I'm convinced to leave it as is. I like the monolithic look, but that can gets hotter than shit with the sbr and having to wear an oven mitt to shoot doesn't sound appealing. Thanks for opening my eyes to how hot the rail would get.

Is your rifle a 5.56 or 300BLK mine is a 300BLK and it doesn't get hot but I don't run mine extremely hard or do any mag dumps.
