Hello everyone and once again thanks for your patience. I was wondering who makes good 56mm scopes? I was wanting to get a Bushnell Tactical 6-24X50, but I am not sure. Perhaps I would like the extra light that a 56mm offers. Please let me know what 56mm's are out there, and if I am on the right track. thanks again.

+1...on what Redmanss said. It's impossible to suggest the right scope for the right price if we don't know what price you are willing to pay or can afford.

If you've got the cash, get yourself a Nightforce NXS 5.5-22x56mm NP-R1.

Re: Who makes good 56mm scopes?

The only thing your going to find in the Bushnell price range is the Millett TRS or the Falcon Menace. IMO, the 56mm isn't the deciding factor for me when I'm buying a scope but your needs might rely on it. If your okay with getting a 50mm, I would look into either the Bushnell like you said, Vortex PST, or the new Sightron siii Tactical. If 56mm is a must, I'd get the Millett over the Falcon. In all honest your best bet is go with a Nightforce or stick with 50mm

Forgot about that. Yes, budget is a problem, but that is ok. You answered my question. I will just stick with the Bushnell, as long as it has turrets have graduated increments. Do the Bushnell scopes have graduated increments on the turrets?

Re: Who makes good 56mm scopes?

I personally have had a few 56mm scopes... and they are just too freakin big. I opt for the 50mm at the most, and they have served me well. I hate building up a mile high cheek weld just to look through the things...

Just my $0.02 worth... carry on.
