Since people run them with both long actions and short actions, you may want to specify.

Hi all, New member here from Australia.
Lumley Arms, Sydney Australia make a dam fine DBM to suit short actions - 223/308/WSM calibres.
I just bought one last week and had it fitted to my Rem700 .308 cal.
I purchased it through Delta Tactical in Melbourne Australia.
There made from 4140 high tensile steel, glass bead blasted & QPQ salt bath nitrided. They also do a 316 stainless steel version too.

I have a 7WSM running in a SA AICS 2.0 so no bottom metal. Had the barrel chambered by GAP to run 180gr VLDs from mag length using Accurate mags that don't have the front plates in them.
It works great for me as I still have more case capacity to run my loads faster if I need to. Only bad part is I probably will not be able to use the 195gr Berger Hybrids when they come out. Probably need an LA to use them to their full potential.
May not actually answer your question but it is an alternative if you haven't already commited to a normal stock. Can end up being a bit cheaper than buying a stock and DBM, then paying a smith to inlet and bed.

Precision Shooting Sports billet bottom metal with Alpha mags.
They were the only guys I've seen that move the magazine back so you don't have to notch the front part of the receiver (and weaken it). The Alpha magazines will hold 10 rounds and allow a slightly longer COL than the other 308 type magazines.
