I was given Oxycontin after spine surgery. I asked a couple of doc friends and both (one in rehab business) said it was very addictive. Asked an LE friend what the street value would be...$1250.00 for the bottle.

Flushed it all.

Our collection of elected idiots just passed a bill squandering nearly $14 billion dollars to aid Ukraine.

What this bullshit bill really does is fucking pay the assholes in NATO to increase their military spending. These fucking people have not paid their fair share of NATO EVER. No country in NATO pays their treaty agreed upon amounts of GDP in military spending in 40 years and now their militaries are total shit and completely incapable of withstanding their enemies.

After making Ukrainian pilots wait a week, we have decided to fuck them and refused to provide them with aircraft from Poland. Why? Because we only want them to look like they can win, we cannot take a chance on them actually stalling the Russians and getting a truce, peace or victory. The Finns did it during WWII with no help from America and the Ukrainians are going to learn that bribing piece of shit Democrats is never a good plan.

So once you do a little digging, you will find there is nothing in their spending package but skim, bribes, graft and loot for the scum of Europe. Maybe a $100 million will go to actual Ukrainians.

Putin's slaves on MSNBC are equivocating as usual and trying to compare Syria's civil war, where 90% of the adult males 18-60 fled to Ukraine where the people are supporting the government and fighting an actual foreign invasion. The Putin monkeys on MSN and CNN are claiming we only help when it is white people who are Christian...............................usual leftist bullshit.

Whatever the leftist media and idiots in elected office are doing, it is not really helpful to anyone but themselves, as usual.

By the Grace of God, I've never had cancer so no clue what you're going though. My dad died from cancer pretty much throughout his body. He was offered morphine, but refused any pain meds. My brother and I tried to sneak it in and he realized very quickly and told us in very certain terms not to do it again.

I think Putin has a 50/50 shot of surviving this. Like Stalin before him he has purged anyone who had the balls to question him from any position of power in the Kremlin. But, if the right group of oligarchs decide he is bad for business he could be in trouble. The Russians should win, but they will have won a victory over people who will be their sworn enemies for generations.

The damage to our country, it's place in the world and our economy will be caused by Democrats. They will cripple the energy sector, stifle business, raise unemployment, increase crime and the unchecked border invasions will fill our streets with the absolute scum of the earth. Russia will never have to attack us, his friends in the Democratic party will rot this place like colon cancer.

During Obama, they tried to raise gas prices to over $7 dollars a gallon. Why? Because they had a study that says, no one will buy shitty electric vehicles unless gas is cost prohibitive and they estimated that to be about $7 dollars a gallon. This plan with Russia is 15 years in the making. If Biden can get $7 buck a gallon gas and steal the next election with those 81 million imaginary voters, we are fucked.

Putin is simply going to get what he paid for when he bought the Clinton's and their friends in the 2010's.

In November, Democrats will be 30 points behind in the polls with leftist media extolling their virtues, they cured covid, they won the war in Ukraine and the economy is back on track. Straw polls will show the leftists losing by 20 points and at 2 am they will get massive inflows of votes from "outlying precincts" that will swing the elections in their favor. More 135 y/o people than ever before will vote, some of them 30 times each.

We are getting played.

You'd be surprised about how many would volunteer. I've worked with con crews for some community improvement projects. 1 or 2 out of 10 will work. And those will need many explanations. It was shocking honestly...the level of education was so bad. Kinda sad really.

If a person is in pain and takes opiates, there is little change of addiction. The addiction comes from taking them for the high, when there is no pain. Some people are more prone to chemical addiction than others. I have an extremely painful issue that flares up once every month or two. One opiate pain reliever knocks it out and I take no more. I would NEVER take an opiate for the buzz, because of the addiction potential.

He didn't take it for the high, he took it to function because the pain was unbearable for 2 years dealing with insurance, doctors, and surgeons. He knew he was addicted and sought help. Heroin, also an opiate, can be addictive on the first dose. Morphine can be as well. Some people are more prone to addiction than others. I'm still addicted to nicotine and I haven't touched it in almost 13 years.

If opiates are taken, long term, there can be a physical dependency that must be overcome. The physical dependence is not the same as the psychological addiction and craving. For some, the physical dependence is a necessary evil. Yes, some people are prone to psychological dependency. Different drugs have different dependency and addiction risks. I've known folks, who've taken pain killers for years, but after surgery, they didn't want, or need them. I have an aunt who will go to extreme measures to get a high. She's almost 80 and has a history of orthopedic issues. Pain, or no pain, she likes the high.
