Definitely good service. I just ordered some Minox binoculars off of their sample list. They had them graded as "B", which meant there were to be small handling marks. However, I can't find a mark on them and I paid 1/4 MSRP for them. Awesome!

I have bought two pieces from them. Both were binoculars. A Set of Swarovski, and a set of Zeiss binoculars. Both came from the "Sample List". I do not believe the price was a bargain, but the prices were fair. However both pair were in better shape than described. So I believe SWFA can be trusted. And in today's market that is above and beyond most retailers. Tom.

I hate to be the rotten apple in the bunch and I know there will be a lot of hate from this response but..... I had an issue with two Super Sniper's and it took a long time and direct contact with Chris to find out whom and where to send them (they were traded in the mean time). Next he personally promised to send me a couple of items to replace ones I had ordered and they never came and finally I requested a price match and was turned down but upon contacting Chris (a day later) he had just put the scope on sale so the match wasn't needed.

To me, they are a decent bunch in general and like most companies don't communicate the best. Deals can be found but my bussiness has gone elsewhere because of my recent experiences with them.

No, NO - don't go shop at SWFA! You never heard of them. They don't exist. Don't shop their SampleList.

That way I get all their SMOKING HOT DEALS & AWESOME CUSTOMER SERVICE !!!

Not to bash them but not all experiences with them have been positive.
I don't want to get into the details and I am probably an exception.
I may give them another shot someday.

I had good service from them , years ago ( 15yrs ago ), when people had common sense , and BS was minimal.

But as they do not wish to ship to me ( outside the US ) , I have not dealt with them since .

No real loss to me , I get better service from other's .

Like all things your mileage may vary .

Also , last time I looked , New Zealand is Western Nato country , that has gone to war with the US more often than NOT , we like Aussie sent combat troops to Korea & Vietnam .
Have currently troops in Afghanistan , and did have in Iraq .

I find a lot of their prices are rather not competive. For example rings and bipods that I have looking to get. While I like the price match idea. I would rather not have to go through the hassle of running down all the information required to fill out the form then waiting on its approval. But it is nice they offer it. What can you do?

Yep, if you really look at their sample list prices they generally are only a few dollars off their regular priced items. They quote a MSRP which is way high and it looks like there is a big reduction but there isn't. As for their normal prices, there are several other places that will meet or beat their prices and a lot with free shipping which SWFA charges overboard for. As I said earlier, after my last fiasco with them my business has gone elsewhere.

I have had nothing but great service from SWFA on numerous purchases. I check with them first but I do call to make sure it is in stock first - I do hate to wait.

SWFA has been a sponsor at many matches that i have been to....all over the country and at many 3-guns and sniper comps for YEARS......

plus Chris is a top notch guy....and the folks that work for him are good people as well.

SWFA SS scopes are the best intro scope to LR. I say intro because the really good stuff is up there in serious raman territory. An SWFA SS Optics System can be had for under 3/4k where you just begin to find stuff like USO, NF, et al upward of $900 for the scope only.
I love my SS 10x. My kid kicked my ass in a competition with it too
