This is the second time I've ordered from KRG...

I'm currently doing shift work and can't get to FedEx... and OF COURSE they always send stuff signature required... even if you ask them not to.

For crying out loud, good equipment or not, it's enough to make me rethink using their equipment.

You can usually contact FedEx and have the package held at either the FedEx hub or a FedEx "store". All the local "stores" here are Walgreens pharmacies. I had the problem over the holidays. I had a package sent to the office, but the building was shut down. I redirected the shipment to the nearest FedEx drop point (it was a Walgreens near my office) and FexEx emailed me when it was ready for pickup and I was able to swing by and sign for it.
Put the tracking number into FedEx.com and see if you can hold it at a store.

reroute it to a FedEx retailer for pick up.

I know guys... but I work in another State... and its a PITA to redirect packages for that reason!

I really wish they'd up their game on their website and TELL YOU they refuse to send stuff without a signature required.

    Waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaah!!!!

Create a free account with Fedex and have them deliver it to a Kinkos or whatever you have near you. The one near me stays open until 8 or 9 weeknights which makes it a breeze to pick up after work.

I manage to find one that’ll be open till 10 o’clock at night. It’s like the only one in the region that stays open that late!

    This ^^^

Just had a PVS-14 shipped to me, and this was the route I took, so as not to conflict with work.

I was able to leave a signature (it was left on the note fed ex leaves when your not there) as a signature allowing the drop off. They kept that as a legit signature. But I live in BFE and that was a few years ago. Of course if your never home between ordering and delivery date it won’t help anyways

    dont you have any friends?

With a bad attitude like mine? Are you kidding!? :ROFLMAO:

Surprisingly, most of my friends don't live anywhere near me. It's kinda funny... no one wants to live in Marylandistan....

Of course all of my buddies, whom mostly live in VA, are now freaking out!

I'm a parent of an Austic child with a crazy job and not a lot of time.

You know... they used to be cool with that. I used to do that ALL the time, and had no issues. At some point it became a problem.

they hate you cause they can .
I doubt they even know you are alive let alone hate you .
they know no matter what they make you will buy it then complain about it , but they already have your money so they are happy and that is all that matters .
Cheer up, Brian. You know what they say.
Some things in life are bad,
They can really make you mad.
Other things just make you swear and curse.
When you're chewing on life's gristle,
    Don't grumble, give a whistle!
And this'll help things turn out for the best
    And
Always look on the bright side of life!
Always look on the bright side of life
    If life seems jolly rotten,
    There's something you've forgotten!
And that's to laugh and smile and dance and sing,
When you're feeling in the dumps,
    Don't be silly chumps,
Just purse your lips and whistle -- that's the thing!
And always look on the bright side of life

I've done that with rifles from the CMP in the past, not a problem and no worries about packages being swiped off the porch.

I picked up a SkeetIR-X (which is pretty nice actually) and since the USG doesn't own it, it can't be in the car on the compound! Anything electronic is verboten.

Sounds like a place in Northern VA that I am familiar with...even your phone has to be powered down before driving on the premises. ;)

Create a FEDEX/UPS/USPS account for your current address (its free). You can then sign online ahead of time and they'll leave it at the door. If this was mentioned before, sorry, prior responses were TLDR

That’s why I bought mine from an online dealer and not direct (no offense KRG) but ups doesn’t think twice about throwing it in my porch.

I had a similar situation with a scope and FedEx. They wouldn't re-route it and wouldn't let me pick it up until I raised hell. Find a mailbox/shipping store and have stuff shipped there. They will usually sign for packages and hold them for a small fee.
