Why I Can't Stand Some People Handling Guns Around Me!

Even the guy that was shot kept flagging his buddy then put a mag in and was still repeatedly flagging him. I shouldent laugh but did you see how quick his other friends? Left the store?

Santiago Chile?
WGAF?
Play stupid games, win stupid prizes. Both were playing with loaded pistols....playing, keep that in mind.

Was in downtown Santiago about 2005. Was lots of fun in the taxi, going by the university to the airport and the driver said "gringo, heads down, get behind the seat", when we were driving past the college protesters and the gub'mint APC's w/M240D's on the roof.

That doesn't look like an "accident" to me...

Loaded the magazine, pointed muzzle at the other guy's direction. And even after the other guy realized what was going on, tried to move his body out of the way, and most likely verbally exclaimed too... He FOLLOWS him with the muzzle and pulls the trigger.

Yeah, "accident" for sure...

That was my thought. Watched it 3-4 times and it looked like he shot him on purpose.

It’s as if I was looking at a live feed of the range every time there is a “cease fire” and people are downrange putting up targets.

I refuse to go to a public range on the weekend for this very reason. While they may have the right to possess a firearm, it doesn’t mean half of the incompetent fucks out there should be allowed in the same room as one.

Santiago, Dominican Republic, apparently. News article (in Spanish): https://n.com.do/2019/09/22/hombre-mata-a-otro-mientras-manipulaba-una-pistola-en-santiago/

Rough translation: A man killed another while handling a firearm he was cleaning. Victim was ID'd as Eduardo Cruz Arias, who worked for the loan company Hernández. In the video circulating on social media you can see that the deceased points his gun first while the other person is cleaning his. The other guy then does the same but doesn't realize there's a bullet in the chamber (lit., "bedroom"), activating the dangerous device and firing at his friend, taking his life.

I will never understand why people do stupid stupid things like this. What is the point? are you cool now? are you tough now? just fucking stupid is all you prove to me.

I have had a couple questionable incidents with friends I trusted
with extended family that I always worried about
with random people being careless at public and private ranges
lucky for me nothing ever happened, but the potential was there

No shit. They should take away about 50% of the drivers licenses and cull about the same # of firearm owners. There are a lot of morons out there.

Fuckin eh.
Dude these kinds of people understand the phones in their pockets and the cars that they drive but don’t care to put forth a shred of consideration towards the firearms they finger fuck.

Not only that, but it’s like once they are at the range, the only thing they focus on is doing what they want to do WHEN they want to do it.

...cease fire, step behind the yellow line...

::retards standing on and inside of the yellow line finger fucking their firearms or digging through their bags on the firing bench while the RSO repeats it over and over as people are downrange::

Or dudes walking up to the firing line and laying their rifle on an admin bench behind the firing line with the muzzle facing down range....as in pointing at the walkway between the admin area and firing line...aka flagging everyone who walks by or is on the line...rather than keeping it cased or stored vertically in the rifle rack.

Zero situational awareness or consideration for others and safety...and we get what we have here in the video...and at public ranges.
