I've waited for someone to ask this same question for a long time and had no joy, so I'll ask.

For many, many years now, every time the Cup or Bash is going on we get a few "New Guys" that join an post up a lower than basic first question, intended to provoke a fast response from many. After the pot is stirred an smelling rich they just fad away.

Past being coincidence don't you think?
I've my pick for who the 2-3 are, who's your guess?

I haven't noticed it but ironically, I'm usually at the events. Perhaps it's because the 2-3 who you believe it is knows that most if not almost all of the mods are away and they feel they can get away with shit stirring?

there's some of that going on most of the time, whether there is an event or not. if it's a known shit stirrer, the "regulars" are just as guilty by letting it fester more, then the feeding frenzy begins (usually entertaining).

i generally throw these in my responses:

newbies and search function

EASIER TO FIND STUFF - sniper's hide google search

and then there is the always humiliating EVERYTHING you should know and not ask

Why is it that certain folks get pissy about someone not filling out a profile? someone's profile can say they are the sugar plum tooth fairy, who's to say they are not? certainly not everything on the internet is real, right? does it really matter?

heck, i don't even know if mine filled out.

jack offs would come here and run scams and generally fuck folks out of gear or money or......whatever.....
or just start selling their trash here in this valued and respected website........

completing a profile has cut the riff-raff down a bit.....and the fuck-wads that do sell and do not contribute anything at all are found out and dealt with.....

there are other reasons to complete a profile......but mostly it is lost on the un-washed.

This place is far smaller than many know. I, like many here, do not know each person posting here,... but after awhile if the smell test is failed, you can bet I/they will know someone that can/can not vouch for them.
The true loners are the hardest, but when they don't post up in certain blocks, never show up at any shoots,...always hang in the PX or are 1/4 moa anytime everyday shooters,....well it's not hard to get a read.
