turkey hunting with a bow does not suck that bad, and Ive seen some big gobblers taken. I hunt turkey with a shotgun and/or bow.

I stopped hunting with a bow because I found out I had much more fun using a handgun. There was an added plus for me using a handgun and that is extra range. Now I do not need to try to call them in as close. Once they get close enough I can send a 10mm round at them.

....'cause it's harder to nail the SOB with a bow that just stalked you thinking you were a turkey than 3.5" of 12 guage?

only reason i go with the shotgun is for "protection" up here in NE Pa. 1st day checklist:
calls ...check
camo.....check
decoys...check
trauma plate....check
