I've posted from the Rifles Only bunkhouse on my Nexus One, can't get any weirder than that.

Just finshed installing (the second unit) N-wireless router on my home system, along with purchased (took me this long, skinflint that I am) total system security software on the desk top and on the laptop(s).
For one thing, this likely indicates I will be doing a lot more remote computing.
For another thing, I'm hoping to try linking up my Meade Astronomical Telescope and its CCD camera with my laptop to use as a monitor for spotting targets at SR/MR distances, and maybe I'll be able to capture/process some video as part of the process.

Good luck with that it took me 5 months to get another gig over there. Barring a complete failure I should be headed to afghan in a week

Lol not an odd spot at all. Most of my post over the

I am still somewhat new to having a wireless connection in my house, but and can tell you it's such an awsome convenience not having that lame Ethernet cable following me around. Was even worse when I lived at home still and was stuck with dialup and drug that overly long phone line around the house.

I was reading somehwere that the gryphon is having Iraqi Gov issues and is no longer flying to Kuwait.
Was nice being able to get off that turd and head for DC for a nice stop on my way home to TX
Sent out for my Afghan Visa on Monday since I needed my passport for the trip to the caribbean. should be boots on the ground by the end of the month. Somehow got Bronchitis and a bit of fluid in my lungs that I want to blame on snorkleing in Grand Cayman. I feel so bad that I dont feel like fishing, took off work till monday and am iffy about going to go shoot.
