Kicking Ass Somewhere
I Bought a Model 70 about 5 years ago, have not shot it a lot as I been busy trying to wear out the 10 FP's. When I did take it to the range it would only fire a few factory rounds before the rounds started getting stuck in the chamber or not being able to feed smoothly or at all. I sent the rifle to Winchester to get looked at recently they sent it back with only a note of minor work, I am wondering what could have caused this and if there is any way to find out the what the minor work was. Turn around time was only 2 1/2 weeks. Any ideas?

Define "feeding smoothly"...

I'd hazard a guess that a rough chamber would've needed to be polished out or a tight throat might have needed to be opened up a bit.

Thank god FN is running Winchester now, I'm expecting good things in the coming years...
