Hey gang. First post (other than my introduction) here and would like some wisdom.
I have a brand new Savage 110 Storm in 308. I have cycled the bolt empty quite a bit, lubed it up, cleaned it up, lubed it more, and it feels great without ammo in the mag.
But when loading the 4 round mag, the thing just has issues. Out of 10x mag attempts at feeding the chamber (40 rounds), it jammed 37 of the 40.
I tried slowly, quickly, aggressively, babied it, all the different angles.
I have attached some pics of what it's doing.
Sometimes it doesnt seem to capture the round and just launches it forward (kind of ends up "stove piping" if thats a thing on a BA).
Sometimes it sends it nose down and catches the brass. Anyhow, some advice would be good.
PS: I'm new to bolt actions, so forgive me if i'm leaving out important details.
Edit: I'm using Remington 150gr CoreLokt
Thanks!
