Going to build a 338 Norma.Want to get a Stiller action on the group buy.Not shore witch one i need. The tac 338 is for the lapua that would'nt be the one would it.
Might want to call over to Stiller and check on build time. They just relocated their shop to a bigger facility. Production has been down for a few but they should be caught up with a little bit of time. Still worth the wait to get their product though.
A Tac 300 will work but they will have to open up the boltface from .540 to .585. The Norma was designed to run in a standard long action. According to some info provided to me by Dr. Heath the Norma chamber pressure runs 62,367psi (430mPa), the 300WM by comparison runs max SAAMI spec 64,000psi (440 MPa). The Tac 300 should be fine, a friend of mine runs a 338NM built by RWS on a Surgeon action and it is stupidly accurate.

Thanks for weighing in on this, are the internal dimensions of the Tac300 too small for the case or is there some other reason?
