Wondering if I would be getting a good deal?

Iv been looking at a remington 700 vls in 243 winchester at my local gun store, the gun is priced @ $1800 with a Leupold Vx 3 8.5 -25 long range target scope and a 12-25" harris bipod monted on the rifle, and i was wondering if this is a good deal?

what are you going to be using the gun for?

so basically you are getting the bipod free

not a smoking good deal, but seems to be priced about right.

the gun is new, and i will be using it for getting into longer distance shooting, and coyote, and deer hunting

better deals can be had but if you're in a hurry thats a fair price
