The really sad part is people will welcome the gradual erosion of their rights and freedom. The left already labels any statement not 100% in line with their narrative "hate speech." I don't think it's unreasonable to think that the hate speech label will become "inciting terrorism" or something criminal along those lines. I'm sure alarm bells are going off in the minds of many people here, but not enough.

Don't lament your age, you've lived and learned. You have a platform here and with others in your life. Use your experience and knowledge to educate and inspire others to understand the virtue of individualism. The big issue is no politician wants to touch monopolies of big tech, too many cosy jobs for the swamp creatures. Erosion of freedoms is linked to two things, big tech monopolies and FED monetary policy that is further growing the monopolies while laying waste to the middle class.

Only now with days left in office, he is doing some last-minute posturing Too little too late. The legal protection issue he tied to NDAA is not really solving anything if enacted will just serve as an excuse to further increase censoring by big tech .

Big tech monopolies need to be broken up. They are the ones that are bringing in the new feudalism and they are being pampered, with tax breaks and regulatory loopholes all the way to 1984

Ditching protection from lawsuits for the content posted ,is not the same as doing anything to stop the problematic part ,which is that they are aggressively 'moderating' the content they don't like and he is doing this days before he is booted from the office.
If anything big tech will be censoring and moderating even more to avoid lawsuits by woke nutjobs that get upset with anything not politically correct.
