Rifle Scopes WOTAC Delivery Problems?

All,

I'm having a problem with Wonders Optics. I ordered a 10x WOTAC scope on 9/5. No sign of it yet. OK, delays happen, I understand that. So I call and leave a quick voice mail asking about status. Days go by, no response. I send an email for same, no response.

Anyone else having problems with Wonders?

Card charged 9/6. Got email receipt for order and purchase confirmation, so all seemed OK.

Radio silence after that. No shipping/tracking email. Nothing.

Yikes. Hope the Gen V 10X is at least OK for weekend paper punching.

I waited almost three weeks on a Gen V 4X14X50.I did manage to get Matt on the phone, but it wasn't easy. But, <span style="font-weight: bold">I did get it</span>. I disagree that the product is "shit". Matt has stated that there have been no returns on any Gen V 's. It is a good scope.

Something is going on though. Mele ran a sale thread on SC (Gen V 4X14X50 for $299) - he recently posted that he can't get his order either, and has had a few guys get thier money back. My wait was for parts shortage, maybe that's the issue now.

Fair enough, but he needs to communicate with his customers. Avoidance is bad for business, and word gets around.

I have a Gen V 4-14 and love it. Mine only took 3 or 4 days to get here, and he was very prompt in responding to my emails. This was 3 or 4 months ago though.

Every time Ive called Matt Ive gotten him on the phone. Even on a Monday evening at 8:30pm and a Saturday. I know he was sick a few weeks ago and got behind on his e-mails. Hes also been having trouble keeping stuff in stock he said. You might give him a call again and see whats up.

I also spoke with him early last week. I'm trying to get my hands on a Falcon 4x14 and he indicated that the Customs Officials were being "Governmental" (my words). I have a WOTAC 10x that I'm happy with but want some flexibility in a 4x14 that has a similar retical and mil adjustments like the 10x.

If he is a stand up guy, he needs to communicate with his customers, both in private and on this forum. Communication will make or break a business, guaranteed.

Let me educate you: Larry Potterfield is a stand up guy. Never had a single problem with Midway USA and the website tells you up front if an item is out of stock. Shipping is SAME DAY. Superb communications. No games.
