Yes, he should have fought it, but I don't know what he was up against, what the options were that were presented to him, or what his financial position was at the time. Perhaps he thought of the ringer that he'd be dragging his family through in the process, I don't know, and neither do you. Even if he sued for millions, there's nothing to collect. He could be awarded billions, and it doesn't matter because he won't collect a dime from someone that doesn't have anything to begin with. Oh, maybe he can take her house, or a few $10's of thousands in assets, and that's if she doesn't just file bankruptcy. Can't sue the Circuit attorney, she has qualified immunity. So suing doesn't make a difference. An attorney is not going to take it on contingency against a defendant that doesn't have any assets to their name that will come close to covering the invoice from the attorneys firm. The court of public opinion has already settled the matter and forgotten and got the desired outcome they sought, to remove him from office, so the lt governor would resume the office, and play ball having just witnessed what they did to Greitans. Even if he won, the optics of him coming back and firing Kim Gardner for investigating him, would be some seriously negative optics, and would not have ended well. I would prefer to see her end up under the tires of a dump truck, or the sole victim of a gas leak explosion, or any one of a few thousand shitty ways to leave this life.
We're living in a clown world, and it's only going to get worse and these shit show liberals try to out do each other with their wokeness, or equality, or just try to demonstrate how stupid their policies are.

I'm from Missouri and have followed the Greitens story. He had a very bright political career and threw it away. He wasn't framed. Nobody made him betray his wife and kids, he did that all by himself. I have always felt that if a guys family can't trust him, why should I trust him.

The St Louis DA was dirty in her persecution (not prosecution) of him. Then there are other things such as the charity donor list. I’m not from Missouri but remember hearing about him being a Democrat until 2015 & changed to Republican just for the governors race.
More important than that is when he was a Democrat in 2015 he didn’t support constitutional carry along with the Democrat governor and it was vetoed. Luckily the Republican state legislature overrode the veto & was made law.

Again I’m not from Missouri so could missing some pertinent facts but to me he comes across as a Crenshaw type character.
