Ordered an Excursion FLP scope, model 781569ED. Upon delivery I took the scope box out of the shipping box and was looking forward to trying it out. Unpacked all and started looking at the neighborhood. Overall a nice quality scope, in new condition but there was no reticle! So I contacted the seller, but there are no more available.

Apparently somewhere at Bushnell, a much older model scope was placed in this box.

It's a little difficult to see because of the contrast but the model number is 781560ED- not even close to a current model.

Bushnell also says that I'm out of luck. There will be no reticle scopes available until the new model arrives.

If you are buying a Bushnell product, please ask your vendor to confirm that the box contains what is supposed to be there.

opticalfactory ...but I don't think it's really their fault; they did call Bushnell. They had two of them NIB, but I don't see the other on their site any longer. They've offered me a refund but I think I'm just going to keep it.

I own several Bushnell products and they make a good product. I think I may get the 70ED when it's finally available.
