So not only are all TV ads now made up of fags and LBP's... My "English" TV channels are being saturated with Spanish Ads.

FUCK THAT SHIT... State Farm and Verizon are the worst. Woke POS companies that somehow think they will get 'woke cred' by dropping a foreign language on my TV dozens of times a day? There are only about 40 spanish channels for those who won't learn English or 'integrate.' Every minority group now has 10 radio stations. Goatfucker radio is a thing...

Here's some news State Farm.... I don't want to be part of a risk pool made up of illegals who can't even read a street sign! Hey Verizon... you telling me my rates are now based on paying for millions of illegal phones and an ad campaign aimed at people who were felons the instant they stepped North of the Rio Grande?

LOL! I get them all the time. Fortunately for me, I at least understand them. I have friends that are of hispanic descent, but don't speak spanish. LOL! Drives them nuts. Drives my wife nuts too, since she doesn't understand that "cerrado" is the button she needs to "close" the ad. She just hands me her phone and asks me to shut it off. LOL!

My stupidbox has not left the house completely... But it sees very little use. Once a week or so Mrs. Okie and I will watch something on one of the streaming services.

Couldn't tell you when the last time I watched network TV was... Probably April, May, or June when severe t-storms/tornados were brewing. And as soon as that blew over it was immediately turned off and forgotten.

Get rid of that garbage. One less person that can be programmed and your blood pressure will thank you.

I cut cable 15 or 20 years ago so I can't say if it's a regional thing, I'd imagine it is...

But, think about it. 15 years ago there were estimated to be as many as 30 million illegal immigrants in the country at the time, the majority of which were spanish speaking. In just the last 3 years of Biden alone there are a known 8 million - so that's 38 million and I'd argue that's a low end estimate. Plus you have births who fall outside of that but many of which are in spanish speaking homes so you're probably looking at 60-80 million spanish speaking homes.

As a percentage of the population - that's a significant chunk.

If you live in the mid-west, as I do, and you look at the make-up of local schools -- they're almost all 50% or more hispanic. That's publicly available information that the schools aggregate.

So if you live in a region with that kind of demographics -- it shouldn't be a surprise that's why they're targeting spanish speaking homes. Particularly when it comes to kids things. Being blunt -- non-hispanic homes are not having kids anywhere near the rate hispanic households are. The inevitable result of that should be obvious.

My grandparents came here legally from mexico, became American citizens while spending the majority of their lives picking the fields, and they taught us to embrace American culture and its traditions and language. It is a HOT button topic with me but sadly I can't change it. If I were king, this country would be English speaking only, both spoken and unspoken.

Hard for me to believe that every corporation that is able to buy tv advertising suddenly got woke at exactly the same time, and all decided to pander to the black community. Seems like it started with obama. Are they offered some kind of cash incentive? Or is it mandated by some unelected bureaucrats? The FCC won't respond to those questions.

I don't know what level of interaction you have with the Hispanics in your community but around here it's close to 20% or more. I deal with them often and there's a small percentage that are above that level.
But then again I have been in several homes of white people and baby shark is on repeat. I don't know which is worse. Tio conejo or baby shark? I just know that I am ready to put a gun to my head by the time I get out of there.
I tell them all the time that turning off Univision and turning on American TV is the best way to learn English.

Between them and the Narcan commercials, I have just gone back to watching stuff I have in my collection. No commercials about Narcan, no foreign language commercials, etc.
