    So we just had a formation amd was told that we are no longer allowed to go to bars, restaurants, any kind of gathering of more than 4 people and we cant take our kids out trick or treating. apparently this was put out by the Fort Carson post Commander........I'm so glad I'm getting medically retired.

    Mask have to be worn at all times now also......

    I would strip my uniform off at any formation before I followed BS orders. This just truthfully makes me want to get out even more so now.......

    I have a guy on my street with a Biden yardsign and bumper stickers. 🙄🙄🙄

    Agreed peeps have right to voice their free speech but on Fed property I thought there were some restrictions........

    Thats a bit harsh.

    The test is when the CO observes a Patriot getting the upper hand on an Antifa attacker and orders the line to take the Patriot into custody......or some other blatantly UnConstitutional order kicks in the "enemies foreign or domestic" clause.

    Masks suck for sure but its not the go to war trip wire.

    Against my better judgement I still have "Hope".

    I posted about the danger of "Hope" elsewhere already.

    If shit is as bad as it seems sadly the full word is "False Hope".

    I wasnt at said formation so I didn't have my chance to do my strip routine. I got the text from my PLT SGT.

    Neighbor across the street from me has three signs.

    BLM, Biden Harris, and some lib stupid thing about "Grab them by the Vote".

    I have a pretty visible tax payer provided asset that makes me think it inappropriate based on all the ethics classes we take to go beyond my National/Gadsden flag display concerning my political beliefs.

    Doesnt seem right to be campaigning on Fed property.

    I'm retired for over a decade. My experience was: Combat Arms almost always conservative and Support units, much more liberal.

    Just curious, what Branch is CPT Nimrod?

    I always look around to see what signs are out when I go a-walking thrice a week. Most houses don't have any presidential election sign out, but a lot are supporting the conservative/republican (incumbent) district attorney. There are a few Trump signs, including one hand-painted one nailed to a tree at the end of a guy's driveway.

    I've only seen two Biden signs. One in front of a house that's trying to get sold (good luck with that) and the other in front of a large, expensive, waterfront property with a big ol' driveway that has an automated gate and five or six security cameras at its head and along it.

    No other flag besides unit flags and the US flag can be flown on post also goes for cars also. So no sport team flags or anything.

    Truth is I'm a combat medic in an MP unit. A lot of support personnel, supply, cooks, mechanics, personnel are minorities. This isnt being racist it's the truth, and that's where a lot of the biden support comes from.

    Dude it’s everywhere now. NATO is the same way here. A service member in our building caught the rona at the end of the hallway...and they closed the restrooms. Das ist verboten!!!!! 😂 I’m like “where the fuck am I supposed to relieve myself now? Outside? Like an animal and/or European? 😂😂😂 “Go to the next building over and use their toilets.” ...wait I thought we had a case of the super deadly corona in our small building...why would I go and risk contaminating theirs?!!?

    Fun fact...I used the contaminated toilet about 15 minutes before they called the MPs to “secure” the area....with red tape 😂 I’m thinking I should send an email blast out and let everyone know I used the Covid shitter 😂😂😂

    I transferred from Infantry Branch to Dental Branch back in 2009 (still serving. I have 24 yrs and just may stick it out till 30 so I've seen the changes over time). That branch transfer was a night and day difference. The amount of bleeding heart liberals and Biden supporters in a medical unit is astounding whereas it is the exact opposite in the combat arms. I get that the mental health providers are a bunch of altruistic hippies, but I didn't expect it out of the PA's, nurses, and docs. Oh well, I just continue to breed hate and discontent and get dirty looks because I still talk like an Infantry E-4, judiciously use words like fuck and motherfucker, and have no issue telling an field grade officer he is fucked up if warranted. My favorite thing to do if it's slow time and we have to do "hip pocket training" is whip out a pocket constitution and educate the young enlisted on what it says. I am amazed how many of them don't even know the basics of the document they swore an oath too, never read it in high school, or have even critically thought about it.

    *edit. In regards to political flags being flown on post. I know the Hatch Act prevents any political activity while on duty or government resources like computers, but I believe it is up to the base commanders discretion on allowing political signs, posts, etc. I can see them allowing that shit for single family structures, but prohibiting the posting of it in common quartering areas like barracks.

    My wife is a Trump voting, gun toting, Ph.D and two Masters holding licensed counselor. She also cusses like the soldier she was in her younger years, drinks beer, smokes Marlboro Reds, and yet with just a few questions she will still make people break down and bawl like a baby in her office in eight minutes flat.

    I haven't gotten her to blow up any prairie dogs yet though, she says she will go with me, yet something always comes up. I think it's just because she thinks they're "cute". After the ravaging our garden took from the deer this year, I do have her ready to smoke a mulie.

    On the main topic, I'm patting myself on the back again for saying fuck it and leaving active duty at 14 years. The level of bullshit was bad enough in '06 when I left, I can only imagine what it's like now.

    That’s not how it necessarily works when you get compensation from the VA, but you’ll learn about it I suppose when you’re closer to on your way out about total perm, temp, etc.

    Either way, it’s your service. I can’t sell someone I don’t know on what they deserve.

    Is the Guard even one of the armed forces? ;) The kid couldn't make it in the Army or Marines. Trump has a thin skin but a good leader. At least he isn't a war mongerer like some.

    The only time you’ll run into issues with a 100% SCD rating, is if they put “unemployable”. Even then, you can still do as you please. You have enough to stress about with all of this, don’t let this add to it. Unlike the military, you don’t have to disclose anything to your employer, should you decide to rejoin the workforce after getting out. Obviously there are some exceptions, should the job require a fitness for duty standard.

    It sucks that you’re dealing with that man and I wish ya the best with the whole process and getting yourself into a new career post separation. 🍻

    The Army doesn't show up at Antifa riots. The Guard is going to be the first to test that Oath.......or the police.
