“We’re not calling for a boycott of these companies,” Gottlieb said. “Businesses and the people who own them can support whatever kind of philosophy they want, and gun owning consumers can likewise not spend any money with those firms. Let the marketplace decide. Over 100 million American gun owners represent a sizeable [sic] consumer bloc, and they will decide where they spend their money.”
This is exactly why demonrats continue to push gun control laws. You can take this principle and apply it to pretty much everything the left does.
They say you're evil if you don't support their side and then threaten businesses. Businesses join in and culture follows immediately after. They create a stigma and then paint it on anyone who doesn't agree with them. Not anyone who directly opposes them, literally if you don't agree you are the other.
Then, those who oppose them on the right or... just not insane left, because most Democrats don't actually realize they're not allowed in the club anymore the second they disagree with a single talking point, say stupid ish like this.
We're. Not. Calling. For. A. Boycott.
This is why the left is winning, will continue to win, and in the end will win. Because everyone else just cowers.
Yeah, yeah -- I get it, a few randos on SH really do boycott. Well, us randos aren't enough to make a difference so they don't care. Our leadership is weak, they're all cowards. Afraid to get called bad names even though they call them bad names anyway.
You want to make a difference? Write a letter, by hand, to each Senator and Representative for your state and demand they start standing up against this shit or you'll volunteer and recruit for their primary opponent, it not BE their primary opponent. Until Republicans will get up and match or exceed the rhetoric of the left... nothing will change.
