Rifle Scopes WTK Elcan SpecterLR 5-10-20

Re: WTK Elcan SpecterLR 5-10-20

Pretty neat. Still doesn't give a whole lot of info. Maybe a call to the guy, "Daniel Pettry, Product Manager" on the right side of the page? I might email him if I can today.

Scope looks cool. It didnt mention adjustments, if they were mil/moa, and it looks it doesnt have target turrets.

I do like the concept though of just quickly flipping between magnification, and they kept it FFP. That's neat.

It sounds cool in theory but a few things stick out as bad ideas. I don't see any knobs which leads me to believe they use an adjustable base for windage and elevation. I have seen a lot of issues with their bases durability and repeatability. Those problems may be fixed by now but even the idea of having such critical functions outside the scope body makes me worry. IMO a 60mm objective is a bit large for only 20x max magnification also.

Speculation on my part:
Examination of photo (FWIW), this optic appears to resemble the Elcan Digital Hunter - all electronic. The mount is not the same as the externally adjustable Spectre - appears to be a Pic with two screws. The description for power adjustments states using a knob. Sounds like electronic magnification?

Looks interesting and worth further investigation.
