WTK: Rifle value

I'm researching the value of a recent trade offer I received,any guessers? Maybe $650 rifle $300 scope? Not sure of
value of the customization.

This gun started life as a Savage Tactical .308
The only part left from the original gun is the action.

Parts)

A) 26 inch. 1,1/4 od. Zero tapper full bull barrel. 1/11 twist. Recessed target crown.
B) Leupold one piece base and Leupold 30mm rings.
C) Springfield Armory 2nd Generation scope 4-14x56mm with sun shade
Internal level, Range finding recticle for 200 - 1000yards, Bullet Drop Compensator
for 168gr .308.
D) Custom stock, full floated. Picatinny rails at 3 and 9 oclock for adding a light.
E) Harris Bipod 9-13"
F) Adjustable trigger

This gun, from barrel to scope, is set up around the 168gr .308
As long as you do your part this gun will shoot .5 MOA
Gun has about 65 rounds through it since it was built "</span>

Thats gotta be a heavy bitch, Would do $500 on the rifle and maybe $150-$175 for the scope. Would have a hard time even doing that on the scope. I have shaken the eyepiece loose on 2 of these so not a very good scope in my book. Top that off with I don't even think you can get a factory repair for it anymore and this would equal a big ole turd...

I remember those scopes were insanely overpriced new, in the $600 range, even dealers admitted it but that's what S.A. was asking. I appreciate the advice.

I wouldn't pay for scopes I wouldn't use. And that is one that I would just pull and replace. So then you have to consider that the cost to replace it and either match the camo job or strip the rifle. Either way its a negative in my eyes.

any idea on barrel maker? or stock maker? that would make a big differance in the amout given?

might check ebay on the scopes I know at one time they where bringing good money on there around $300

thats a 6"-9" bipod not 9"-13"

4-500 for rifle and I think it will be real hard selling the scope unless in a pacakage deal
